Week of 11/10/2025

On 11/12/2025 at 6:00p.m, FMPD took a 16yo juvenile female and issued charges for Assault. She was release to legal guardian.

On 11/12/2025 11:22 p.m, Officers with the FMPD conducted a traffic stop on Becky Lawson. Lawson was cited for Driving Under Suspension and released.

On 11/13/2025 at 1:41 a.m, Officers with the FMPD conducted a traffic stop on Aleister Raines and Zoey Fink. During the traffic stop Officers detect the odor of Marijuana. After the search of the vehicle, both were arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Raines received an additional charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fink and Raines were arrested, given a promise to appear and released.

On 11/13/2025 at 7:27am, FMPD officers responded to the 2100 block of Avenue L due to a mother reporting that her 16yo son may be in possession of an illegal controlled substance. While he was detained, FMPD detectives also investigated a stolen firearm report where this juvenile is a suspect. Charges for possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft 4th degree, and Minor in Possession of a Firearm, will be filed with the Juvenile Courts. He was also issued a citation for Possession of Tobacco Underage. The juvenile was released back to his mother.

 On 11/13/2025 at 10:17a.m, FMPD responded to Riverview Park to assist BNSF Police investigating a surveillance camera being tampered with. One of the suspects was Andrew Schiedel and he was cited and released for Trespassing.

 On 11/13/2025 at 10:34a.m, officers responded to the Probation Office for a person with an active arrest warrant showing up there. Jalen Kutcher was placed under arrest for Probation Violation and taken to the Lee County Jail.

On 11/13/2025 at 3:34p.m, an FMPD officer stopped Stanley Slee for Unlawfully Passing of a School Bus. He was cited and released with a mandatory court appearance date.

On 11/13/2025 at 4:03p.m, an FMPD officer stopped Kathy Case for driving with a suspended license. She was cited and released with a mandatory court appearance date.

On 11/13/2025 at 5:21p.m, an FMPD officer responded to the 1100 block of Avenue E to take a report of a 9yo juvenile female being shot in the back of the leg with a bb gun out of a moving vehicle. Three male juvenile suspects were in the 1500 block of Avenue B and were detained. Charges for Assault- Causing Bodily Injury will be filed with the Juvenile Court. One of them was also found to be in Possession of a Controlled Substance. The juveniles were released back to their parents.

On 11/13/2025 at 7:44 p.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Mia Moore. During the traffic stop Officers detect the odor of Marijuana. After a search was conducted, Moore was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st offense. Moore was transported to the Lee county Jail and held.

On 11/13/2025 at 10:54 p.m, Officers with the FMPD responded to a call for an active disturbance at Vinnie’s Longbranch bar. Inside officers contacted Adam Carson. Carson was arrested for Trespassing and Interference with Official Acts. Carson was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
