On 12/15/2025 at 07:44 p.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department located and arrested Alexis Griffin, for her active warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving under Suspension. Griffin was transported to the Lee County jail and held.
On 12/15/2025 at 10:16 p.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department located and arrested Robert Fleming IV, for his active warrants for Theft 1st Degree and Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving Under Suspension. Fleming was transported to the Lee County jail and held.
On 12/15/2025 at 11:20 p.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department located and arrested Shannon Gorham, for her active warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving under Suspension. Gorham was transported to the Lee County jail and held.
On 12/16/2025 at 12:01 a.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Mariah Muse. During the stop Officers detected the odor of Marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to Muse’s arrest for Possession of Marijuana 1st offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Muse was transported to the Fort Madison Police Department and given a promise to appear.
On 12/16/2025 at 6:28 a.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Rodric Settles, Settles was placed under arrest for Driving While Revoked. Settles was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
On 12/16/2025 at 3:58 p.m., FMPD arrested Cassandra Wilmot at 57 Alta Drive on a warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving while Suspended. She was taken to the Lee County Jail.
On 12/19/2025 at 9:01 p.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a Juvenile, the Juvenile was cited and released for Driving Under Suspension.
On 12/19/2025 at 9:19 p.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on William Kryzak. Kryzak was cited and released for Driving Under Suspension.
On 12/19/2025 at 12:01 a.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Nicholas Wiegand. Wiegand was cited and released for Driving Under Suspension.
On 12/20/2025 at 2:40 p.m., an FMPD officer conducted a traffic stop in the HyVee parking lot. The driver, Ashley Sturm, was arrested for having a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of Compulsory Education Violation. She was also cited for Driving Under Suspension.
On 12/20/2025 at 6:32p.m., FMPD officers responded to 510 6th Street for a disturbance between mother and adult son. Officers learned that one of the subjects involved was Tyler McFadden, who had a warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of Driving while Suspended. Officers were then dispatched to BP Gas Station for a disturbance between Tyler and his grandfather. Officers eventually located Tyler at 504 12th Street where he was placed under arrest for the warrant.
On 12/21/2025 at 11:24 a.m., an FMPD officer stopped Dakota McKeown on a traffic stop in the 3900 block of Avenue O. McKeown was placed under arrest for Driving While Barred and released with a promise to appear.
On 12/21/2025 at 2:39 p.m., an FMPD officer stopped David Burgess and Delana Crow on a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Avenue E. Officers conducted a probable cause search on the vehicle based on a K9 deployment. As a result, Burgess was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Crow was arrested for a warrant for Probation Violation.
On 12/21/2025 at 3:05 p.m., FMPD responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 35th Street and Avenue L. One of the drivers, Emily Mathews, was cited for driving with a Suspended License and Improper Lane Change.
On 12/21/2025 at 8:40 a.m., an FMPD officer responded to the ER and took a report of a domestic assault that took place at 3421 Avenue N in apartment #208. After an investigation, Zackery Strovers was placed under arrest for Domestic Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
