On 12/06/2025 at 10:30 a.m., an FMPD officer stopped Jennifer Eid in the 1600 block of Avenue G. She was placed under arrest and released with a promise to appear for Driving while Barred.
On 12/06/2025 at 1:42 p.m., FMPD and LCSO took a report of a truck coming into town from Highway 2 that swerved into oncoming lanes of traffic several times. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the Eagle Bluff Apartments. The driver was Eugene Englebrecht. He was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and possession of drug paraphernalia. FMFD and EMS were also called to the traffic stop to assist him as he was having a medical emergency.
On 12/08/2025 at 2:45 p.m., officers responded to 1725 Avenue I for a disturbance between neighbors. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Nathan Washburne. As a result, Nathan Washburne was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
On 12/11/2025 at 12:42 a.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Jordan McCormick. During the Traffic stop officers detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted which led to the arrest of the passenger Alyssa Hardy, age 36 of Fort Madison, for Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana- 2nd offense. Hardy was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
On 12/11/2025 at 2:56 a.m., Officer with the Fort Madison Police Department located and arrested Buck Bruner, age 39 of Fort Madison, for his active warrants for the charges of Criminal Mischief in the 5th degree and Theft in the 5th degree. Bruner was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
On 12/11/2025 at 5:06 a.m., Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Jeremy Skelton, age 35 of Fort Madison, Skelton was placed under arrest for Driving under Suspension. Skelton was transported to the Lee County Jail.
