On 10/25/2025 at 9:48 p.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Molly Haynes, of Fort Madison, in the 2900 block of Avenue K. During the stop Officers detected the odor of Marijuana. Officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia within the vehicle. Haynes was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Haynes was transported Lee County Jail and held.
On 10/25/2025 at 10:45 p.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department responded to 305 10th Street in reference to an active vehicle burglary. Officer contacted the reporting party who directed officers towards the last known location of the suspect. Officer found an individual matching the suspect’s description and after a short foot pursuit, the suspect was detained and identified as a juvenile. This juvenile was detained, and charges were drafted. The juvenile was later released to a legal guardian.
On 10/24/2025 at 7:47 p.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Cole Wyatt, in the 500 block of Avenue E. During the stop Officers detected the odor of Marijuana. Officers searched the vehicle and located marijuana paraphernalia within the vehicle. Wyatt was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia transported to the Fort Madison Police Department and given a Promise To Appear.
On 10/25/2025 at 1:39 a.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Matt Traman, in the 2200 block of Avenue L for Driving While Suspended. Traman was cited and released.
On 10/25/2025 at 3:41 a.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department arrested Jeremiah Prockish, in the 2000 block of Avenue I for a warrant from Des Moines County for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. During the arrest officer located marijuana on Prockish’s person. Prockish was subsequently charged for Possession of a Controlled Substance-2nd Offense. Prockish was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
On 10/22/25 at 10:10 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to use headlights when required. Julian Martinez, of Fort Madison, was arrested for possession of a Controlled Substance-1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Marinez was released with a Promise To Appear.
On 10/21/2025 at 11:08 p.m. Officers with the Fort Madison Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Shelby Linkin, in the 200 block of First Street. During the stop Officers detected the odor of marijuana. Officers searched the vehicle and found marijuana within the vehicle. Linkin was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Linkin was transported to the Lee County Jail and held.
On 10/20/2025 at 4:12 p.m. FMPD officers responded to 1203 23rd Street for a report of a homeless woman walking into someone's house uninvited. The suspect, Rachel Hildenbrand, was located in the 2700 block of Avenue K. She was placed under arrest due to an active warrant. She was also found to be in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Controlled Substance. Hildenbrand was transported to Lee County Jail and held.
All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
